International Roadcheck is an annual 72-hour commercial vehicle inspection and enforcement event organised by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. During the event, inspectors check trucks, buses, drivers, and motor carriers for safety and regulatory compliance. Inspections may review brakes, tyres, lights, cargo securement, hours-of-service records, driver credentials, hazardous materials, and vehicle condition. For carriers and shippers, Roadcheck can affect capacity, routing, and delivery schedules.
International Roadcheck is an annual North American Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) enforcement campaign that conducts focused inspections of commercial trucks and buses over a 72-hour period. Vehicles with critical violations are placed out of service.
- Typically held in late May or early June each year
- Inspectors check driver hours of service, vehicle mechanical condition, and cargo securement
- Trucks placed out of service cannot continue until violations are corrected
