Marc Dedola
CEO
About Marc
Marc joined his father in 1976, at the age of 19, in what was then a one-person show. Learning from the ground up, Marc has accumulated an in-depth understanding of the logistics business. His leadership led to a global expansion across 190 countries and peak yearly revenues of over $40m.
Marc has spent the better part of his nearly 40 years in the Logistics industry focused on business development and continues to guide Dedola Global Logistics sales and marketing strategy and takes a hands-on approach to Operations. He generates a customer-focused culture, through an emphasis on outstanding communication, thoroughness, relationship-building, team spirit, and pride in being the best. He owes his success to skillfully listening to his customers, staff, and vendors alike and hearing what is needed.
Marc believes that there is something to be learned from everyone he encounters. He understands that each individual has needs, and by fulfilling those needs, he will create a fertile environment for success and growth.
Marc lives life with a quiet intensity, integrating his spiritual practice into every endeavor.
Stephen Dedola
CFO & CTO
About Stephen Dedola
Stephen oversees the Accounting, Finance, and IT departments at DGL. His 30 years of experience covers the full range of Logistics operations, and his affinity for technology stretches back to the early 1980s.
His obsession with innovation and efficiency has helped DGL serve its clients while making internal enhancements to operational systems, billing and collections, and customer acquisition. These improvements have helped build a 4-decade track record of success and a reputation for excellence.
Stephen is the architect of Trakit, an early-to-market shipment tracking system developed in the mid-90s.
Stephen also contributes to DGL’s marketing, adding valuable writing, commentary, and analysis to our blogs, white papers, and other online content. He has spoken at several industry-related conferences, most recently at the FreightWaves Live in 2019
Besides being co-owner of DGL, Stephen writes short fiction and fronts his cover-band, The Rhythm Method, at local dives and charity events. He endeavors to find balance in life, and lives by the motto: Moderation in everything… including moderation.
Nigel Jesson

About Nigel Jesson
Nigel joined Dedola Global Logistics in October 1989 bringing with him insight to customer management, finance and strategic team building. Nigel spent his initial years in public service at Leicestershire Area Health Authority HQ. Nigel achieved Senior Management level before immigrating to the USA.
Today, Nigel is a 30 year veteran in the Shipping Industry and is joint owner of DGL. Nigel started at Dedola at the Corporate level, working through Operations, Sales and Marketing. In the mid 90’s Nigel oversaw the successful opening of the Air division at LAX. Now Nigel is VP of Sales, based in San Francisco. Nigel has established footholds in principal markets and leads the company to continuous growth. Nigel holds a 4 year degree in International Business from Hinckley, Leicestershire UK. When Nigel’s not busy advancing our award-winning culture, he enjoys Charity work through the Rotary Club, Photography and playing his keyboards.
Corina Meono
Director of Operations
About Corina Meono
Corina has had an extensive logistics career spanning over 25 years starting in 1995 where she was a Purchasing Coordinator for Platinum Textiles before being promoted to Operations Manager.
Corina also worked in the CHB Department for New Wave Transport where she managed Operations including working with the FDA, USDA, and US Customs while picking up extensive HTS knowledge and experience.
Since joining Dedola 20 years ago, Corina has held multiple leadership roles including Ocean Import Team Leader, Operations Manager, and most recently Operations Director. In these roles, Corina has been at the helm making sure various divisions of Dedola from Air Import & Export, Ocean Import and Export, Domestic services, and all international operations including the Shanghai office runs smoothly and efficiently in every aspect. Not only does Corina oversee all global operations, she works closely with Accounting and Sales ensuring profitability and continually assisting customers with new research and solutions.
Micahel Goldsmith

About Micahel Goldsmith
A recognized leader in the freight forwarding industry, Michael Goldsmith brings over two decades of experience in international logistics and supply chain management. He has served as National Director of Transpacific Business Development and Global Director of International Trade Lanes, earning a reputation for his strategic leadership.
Michael is a sought-after keynote speaker, known for insightful speeches on global forwarding trends at industry conferences. He has shared expertise on various supply chain topics, including garments, after-market automotive, hi-tech electronics, and bulk containers, making him a preferred guest for many public trade associations.
Committed to maintaining strong industry ties, Michael cultivates close relationships with PMA members and is a consistent presence at the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. He is dedicated to building lasting partnerships with importers requiring comprehensive international supply chain solutions, always striving to make a significant impact on his clients.
Away from work, Michael treasures time with his wife and two sons. He’s a Danzan Ryu Jujitsu black belt, an avid cinema fan, and a passionate hockey enthusiast.
Lisa Zhang

About Lisa Zhang
Lisa is a highly accomplished logistics and shipping professional with over two decades of experience, including roles at China Ocean Shipping Corporation (COSCO) Shanghai Branch, S.E.S. Corporation, and Express Line Corp.
Lisa began at D.G.L. in 1999, working at the U.S. office before she played a pivotal role in establishing our Shanghai office. As the Chief Representative of Dedola Global Logistics Shanghai office, Lisa leverages her expertise to foster strong client relationships and drive success across Asia.
Lisa holds a Diploma from IATA-FIATA Cargo Network Services Corp., demonstrating her proficiency in air cargo transportation. She also possesses the Certificate of Dangerous Goods by IATA, emphasizing her commitment to safety and compliance.
With a proven track record of exceeding expectations, Lisa combines strategic vision with industry knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Her diverse skill set and unwavering pursuit of excellence make her an invaluable asset to the logistics and shipping sector.
Ria Harjani

About Ria Harjani
Ria Harjani migrated to the United States from India in the 80’s. In the early part of her professional career, Ria worked for one of the largest Biotechnology companies, based in Framingham, Massachusetts. When Ria moved to the West Coast in 2004, she was part of a Finance Team at a growing global sports equipment and accessory company. Ria joined the Dedola team in early 2019 as an Accounting Manager, later undertaking the responsibility of Controller. Ria is CTPAT and TSA certified.
Alex Pappas

About Alex Pappas
Alex leads all strategy and execution of Marketing, Advertising, Branding, and Content initiatives worldwide for DGL. Alex’s vision and efforts steer the brand positioning and messaging across owned media, paid digital advertising, lead generation campaigns, web, video, and thought leadership content. Alex has 14 years of combined traditional and digital marketing experience including senior roles at publicly traded companies such as Fiesta Group, National Beverage Inc., and KushCo Holdings.
Alex holds a BS and MBA from Nova Southeastern University along with being a graduate of the Goldratt Institute’s Odyssey Program and Leadership Miami.
Alex is originally from New England with Greek dual-citizenship. Alex now calls Venice, CA his home.
Chan Chum

About Chan Chum
Chan Chum serves as the technology leader at Dedola Global Logistics (DGL). After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from California State University of Long Beach, he has spent the past four years gaining industry experience.
In his role at DGL, Chan is responsible for managing the company’s technology infrastructure. This includes both sales systems and core operating platforms, with a focus on maintaining functionality across all IT systems.
Task automation is one area where Chan has focused his efforts, seeking ways to improve DGL’s productivity. He also works on developing business intelligence reports, aiming to provide relevant, data-driven insights for the company.
One aspect of Chan’s role involves collaboration with partners, specifically in enhancing their incorporated SaaS products. This is part of an effort to continuously advance DGL’s technological capabilities.
In his leadership role at DGL, Chan aims to contribute to the success of the company through his commitment to technological advancements and a team-oriented approach.
