U.S. Announces Cross-Border Pre-Inspection Pilot Project – The United States federal government has launched a pilot project intended to reduce congestion and wait-times at the U.S.-Canada border. United States officers will staff a Canadian side cargo “pre-inspection” booth for trucks crossing via the Pacific Highway near Blaine, Washington.
